The deadline for voting in the 1st semi-final is 23:59:59 CET on Saturday 23 January. Remember that if your entry is in this semi you must vote in it, or else be disqualified. Participants in the remaining semi-finals can also vote, with full weighting. Non-participants too can vote, although their votes will be amalgamated as one non-participants' jury.

Before voting, please read the post 'How you should go about voting' above, as well as the other posts on the blog that set out the voting criteria. Remember that this contest is not just about voting for your favourites.

DOWNLOADING PROBLEMS?

I chose to use ZShare on advice, since in any case MegaUpload and RapidShare weren't cooperating, and YouSendIt has limited downloads. The files are also compacted as an .rar because that's what I use.

If either of these facts causes you headaches - slow downloads, or your computer doesn't like .rar stuff - be patient! The good people of the MB will undoubtedly come up with other options. Remember you have an entire week to vote in any case ;-)

All I would ask is that if any kind souls do repackage the MP3s in another format or upload them to another, er, downloading site, send the links to me so I can add them here to the blog. Cheers.
