Submission of entries begins tomorrow!

You can start submitting your entries tomorrow, Saturday 9 January 2010. Remember to include in your email (sent to eurovisionthatneverwas@gmail.com) your MB name, the MP3 and the following information about the song:

*Country and year allocated
*Title of song
*Name of artist

Format: Country Year ­– Song Title (Name of artist)
Example: United Kingdom 2006 – Hung Up (Madonna)

I will do my best to confirm receipt of your entry - and let you know if there are any problems - as soon as possible after you send it by emailing you back. If you haven't heard from me within a few days, send me another email or chase me up on the MB.

The preliminary schedule for the contest (depending on whether there is just one final or two or more semis) is as follows:

The schedule shall be extended accordingly in the event of 4+ rounds.

This is all completely pie-in-the-sky at the moment and is likely to change. I am open to suggestions and recommendations re: timing, gaps between semis, voting windows et al, so if you have any, please let me know (by email or on the MB). The only thing that won't change is the period for submission of entries - so you have until next Friday to get them into me!

For the purposes of deadlines, the cut-off shall be 23:59:59 on the day in question. 'Opening times' shall vary according to when songs are uploaded etc.
