Submissions are now open!

Start sending me your entries for ETNW 2012! The email address you should send them to is etnw2012@gmail.com.

(If you have specific questions about your entry, send them to me at the same address. General questions you can ask me on the MB and Facebook if you like – that way everyone can see the answers. One word of warning though: do NOT submit entries via Facebook, Hotmail, MSN or any other way. Ta!)

So, here's what you need to include with your submission:

1. Your MB nickname
2. Info about your entry

*The name of your song
*The name of the artist
*The year and country you’re allocating it to

For example: Iceland 1995 – Army of Me (Björk)

3. An MP3 of your entry

Please delete any information from the MP3 that could pinpoint you as the entry’s sponsor. Also, do your best to ensure that the sound quality is good – otherwise some people might mark it down.

At some point after you’ve submitted your entry (generally the evening of the same day hopefully, or the next day at the latest) you’ll get a confirmation email – either that it’s all good or something needs changing.

I’ll only ask you to change your entry if it breaks the rules or if the same song or something else by the same artist has already been submitted. Similarly, I’ll only ask you to change your country/year combination if it’s already taken.

And just a personal plea: I’d be grateful if the subject line of your email when submitting your entry was e.g. “Roger’s ETNW 2012 entry”. Makes it much easier when going back to search for things. Thanks :)
